if Only… exhibited at UKAFNP conference.
We set up an exhibitor stall to showcase our charity and our work to numerous professionals who work with patients in SARCs (Sexual Assault Referral Centres) and custody suites throughout the UK. It was a highly positive experience for us to learn about the important work these professionals are doing and to share our knowledge and resources of sexual abuse with them.
We provided our new support cards and feelings wheels for staff to place in their workplaces, and we were able to explain how the charity can assist adult survivors of sexual abuse, should the staff need to refer them for additional support. We also had the opportunity to sit in on the conference and learn from some truly inspiring speakers on neurodiversity.
It was a very successful day, and we are very grateful to UKAFNP for giving us the opportunity to be involved.
